Jonny Fly's Trial

FADE IN

The scene fades in, in the St. Louis City Courthouse.  There is nearly 100 people packed into the rather small courthouse, alot are spectators, but there is a fair share of media coverage as well for Fly has asked for the trial to be televised to show the great injustice he has been handed.  The judge walks into the room alongside Roger Jeffers, who is representing the city of St. Louis.  Jonny Fly, being represented by Kent Strong, takes a seat at his table and the Trial begins...

Judge:  Jonny Fly, you have been charged with 3 counts of burgulary, and 2 counts of vandelism, how do you plea?

Fly: Not guilty, your airness!

Judge: Excuse me?

Fly:  Oh, silly me.  I plead not guilty...your honor.

Soft laughs can be heard throughout the court room until the judge puts them to rest...

Judge: ORDER!!  Mr. Fly this is not a wrestling ring, you will show some respect or I will throw this case out! Now will the city of St. Louis call their first witness to the stand.

Jeffers:  Thank you, your HONOR.  We call Jonny's father, Ronny Maldez, or also known as The Blak Baron to the stand.

The Baron walks to the stand, gives his word to be truthful, then sits down with his eyes directly fixed on his son.

Jeffers:  Mr. Maldez, were you with Jonny Fly the night of the crimes?

Maldez:  For some of the night. From 11 on.

Jeffers: And were was he when he was not with you?

Maldez: At Stranglehold

Jeffers: Right...now you see I talked to Mark Drivlane..you know him right?

Maldez: Correct

Jeffers:  He says Mr. Fly left the building at 10, now you said he was with you at 11. That leaves a one hour window. Do you know when the crimes happened?

Maldez: No

Jeffers: At 10:29 exactly! No further questions.

Judge: Mr. Strong..your wittness.

Strong:  Thank you. Ronny, you were with me the night of the crime right?

Maldez: Yea, man

Strong:  Now, were we not running late that day?

Maldez:  Yea, as I remember it. We were supposed to pick him up at 10:30 as I recall.

Strong: That's right! (To jury) Now let me ask you this, why would Jonny Fly leave the arena and commit a crime at 10:29, if he knew his ride was coming at 10:30! (To Baron) Can you answer this question?

Maldez:  Um..no.

Strong: That's right. There is no reasonable answer. No more Questions.

Kent Strong walks over to a beaming Jonny Fly...

Fly:  Not bad for a sport's agent!

Strong:  Yep.

Roger Jeffers calls a man named Randy Wright to the stand.

Jeffers:  Mr. Wright, is it true that you run the Liquor Store that was robbed?

Wright: Yes it is.

Jeffers: Were you there the night of the crimes?

Wright: At the store of course!

Jeffers: What happened that night?

Wright: Well, 3 men came in with guns and masks, and demanded all the money in the register.

Jeffers: Can you identify any of them?

Wright: Not by face, but one of them said.."Lets get out of here quick"..

Jeffers: Do you recognize that voice?

Wright: Yes..It's the voice of Jonny Fly.

Jeffers: Are you positive?

Wright: Yes, 99% positive.

Jeffers: No further questions.

Judge: Mr Strong?

Strong:  Your honor, I'de like to take a recess to gather some thoughts.

Judge:  Very well, we'll recess for 1 half hour.

FADE OUT

FADE IN

The scene fades in, in the hallway of the courthouse. Kent Strong and Jonny Fly are sitting on a bench talking, as many of the people from the courtroom file out.

Fly: Listen, if this thing goes bad, you gotta confess. They have a strong case on me, and I didn't even do it!

Strong: Don't worry man, I'll get them. Just chill out man, it's under control.

Fly: Alright. Hey did you hear Maniac?

Strong: No, I haven't kept up with the UWA, what did he say?

Fly: That bastard said I was demolished in charecter and physical presence!

Strong: Why'de he say that?

Fly: I don't know, he was rambling on about the UWA's Savior. The guy just doesen't get it! Was it not Jonny Fly that "DEMOLISHED" him? Was it not Jonny Fly that should be wrestling for the UWA World Title? Was it not Jonny Fly who eliminated Mike Furious? Was it not YOU, Manaic who should be wrestling for the TV Title? Have we all forgotten? Was that match even worth doing? Are any of the wrestlers fighting for the belt, that they should be, going off of the match results? I ask again, why was there even a match? Reverend Snow got off easy at November Reign, he won't have to face "The Kid Wonder" Jonny Fly. But yet...Manaic? Come on now...do we have to go through this again? Underachievers..and unworthy wrestlers getting gifts. Disgusting!

Strong: I take it you kept up?

Fly: Of course. I just found out that one of my records has been overun. I became TV Champ in a week and a half upon my signing. Johnny Justice has done the same, this in a way saddens me. I need to get back in the ring..but..well I'm not sure anymore.

Strong: Huh? What? Your not gonna come back?

Fly: I don't know. I came to the wrestling world to make money, and get off the streets. I have done both. It wears you down after a while..I'll have to think about it.

Strong: Well do it tommarow, our break is about over.

Fly: Great!
