Jonny Fly has reached the top of the UWA mountain. It took going through a Hall of Famer, and 3 former UWA Champions. But the impossible feat, was, in fact reached. Now I remind you of words spoken by the Beazt.."But lets be honest with ourselves, beating Shadow will be a task in itself. But to beat him and then win against the three best men in the league. It's just not going to happen."..Maybe the best just isn't good enough for Jonny Fly. Is that possible, would you admit if it was? Well, there is one thing you have to admit now. Jonny Fly is at the top.

FADE IN
The scene fades, in a street in Charleston, West Viginia. The day is Sunday, the 2nd of March, and 2 days after the PPV that crowned Jonny Fly World Champion. A cold front has moved in, and through the night air, your own breath is visible. We catch up with Jonny Fly, and former UWA wrestler, and Fly's best friend, Chris Wild walking down on the street talking..
Wild: You know I'm really proud of you man. You tore that ring up on Friday.
Fly: Yea, it was one of my better days as a profesional wrestler. I feel real good now. Everything seems to be going right. You know, a month ago at PPV I won a European Title Shot, then I'm World Champion. Since my comeback I'm 6-0!
Wild: You've always had the talent man. Everyone's told you that. Ever since you walked into the company. I say it's about damn time you do something with all of it!
Fly: Maybe your right, but I don't want to think like that. What good it it to go around and say, hey, I finally lived up to my billing. Though, did I ever had one?
Wild: Tough, guy from the streets, entertaining, yea, you had a billing.
Fly: Ah, it doesn't matter now. I'm the champ. I set the tone for the United Wrestling Aliance. And the tone, the standards, need to get higher. Much higher. Where wallowing around with nothings. The Black Jack's, Sean Jagger's, Checkmates! Who plays chess?
Wild: Remember that game we had? Wasn't too long ago.
Fly: Yea, I remember! You didn't even know if you were moving your king or queen! Stupid damn goof..
Wild: Whatever dude. Your not gonna catch me dead bragging about any chess shit! Forget that.
Fly: Yea. I guess your right. Who knew I was so good though? I must be some sort of..well..GOD!
Wild: Because you beat a rookie chess player? Give it up Jonny, your a teenager, not a god.
Fly: Why you go to those measures? You know if an opponet brought some shit up like that, I would have to whoop his ass around the ring..73 times! Hell man, I'm more mature than you!
Wild: Yea..you might have me there. I'm known to be very open with alot of things. And then it comes out like I'm a sex crazed 13 year old!
Fly: That reminds me, whatever happened to whats-her-face? What was here name again?
Wild: You mean Kelly?
Fly: Yea, that woman who was bothering you over Christmas. And you told here all you wanted was Mike Edwards's US Title.
Wild: Yea, that was Kelly. I really haven't talked to her in some time. 'Bout a week now I suppose. I'm sure she's fine, she knows how to take care of herself.
Fly: Dude, I gotta be honest. Wrestlers with woman are bad luck. All they do is wear you down. Look at Rollin' Thunder, or Beazt. Thunder hasn't won in decades, and Beazt's talk coudn't walk against me.
Wild: Yea, his attitude really changed as the week progressed. All you did is compliment him, and comes back with saying you posibly winning the World Title is "proposterous." What a cook.
Fly: What the hell dude? Did you just call him a cook? Who the hell says that?
Wild: Ah, shut up. I don't like Beazt. I don't like James Evans. He is a non appreciative son of a bitch! He looker overpowered in the Main Event. I guess there go another wrestler's dream. Right down the fucking toilet!
Fly: Be reasonable. I have lost respect for him to. I don't like him much, but he can give a good fight. He didn't last week, but still, he'll be around. He won't get close to my World Title, but he'll still be here! He's a decent wrestler all in all.
Wild: That's what you said about The Impact Players when they joined The Dynasty! And what did they do for us?
Fly: You got me there, they did nothing for us. The Dynasty is dead now Chris. I think it's time we move back on in!
Wild: What are you talking about? You know I'm skeptical on returning.
Fly: I'm talking me and you Chris. I'm talking about Tag-Team glory. The division is in shambles. And please man, don't worry about coming back. You'll have me right behind you. I'll make up for whatever you lack your first go-round back.
Wild: I'm sure you could, but I still have questions. What about singles matches? What the hell am I gonna do then?
Fly: Why you gotta make everything so hard man? All you have to do is say no singles matches. Then were good to go..
A questioning look comes on Chris Wild's face..
Fly: Oh come on! What is it now?
Wild: It's just my contract. The one I'm subject to when I wrestle here. It says I cannot make special demands and such. Some stupid shit like that.
Fly: I don't have one of those clauses. So I'll talk to Management for you. See what I can do.
Wild: Sweet..this is gonna be awsome..
Fly: As long as you promise to be there for me when I need you. I can't win all these matches by my little old self ya know!
Wild: Dude! You know me. If there's a match, I'm there. My goal in wrestling has always been to become a champ in a top of the line wrestling comapany. Yet I failed. Now it's time to succeed. It's time to imprint a long lasting mark on this company.
Fly: Oh, so your saying you want to be like me? Sucessful, making a mark, holding gold. All that right?
Wild: Shut up. You know I could take you any day!
Fly: What? C'mon now Chris. There is a difference between being confident, and being dumb. And your being dumb. Do you know where I came from?
Wild: Do you know were I came from Jonny? I came from the indy leagues. The toughest place to wrestle on this earth! Like you, the UWA was my big break. You say fights broke out every day in New York, but bones and lives were shattered every day in the indy leagues.
Fly: Chris, wrestling, and living are completely different. No doubt, getting to the UWA must of been killer. But did you have to dig through trash for food? Did you have yo dance on dirty streets for money? It's two different things, and you can't compare them.
Wild: Maybe your right. Well one things for sure, the UWA saved us. If not for this company, who know's were I'd be. Probally with you in New York.
Fly: Yea. But like you said Chris, it's time to suit you up in gold. I'm behind you, and together, with all the desire, courage, and will we have..we may just win those damn titles. Maybe even as soon as by the end of the month!
Wild: Yea. That would be awsome. Hey, why you talking about us, when you got to defend against Pete Wilson this week?
Fly: I have little to worry about. Wilson is Wilson. He's not really great, though he's had his matches where he's been tough as shit. But still, Wilson is no legend. You know, you've faced him before..
Wild: Faced and beat.
Fly: Of course. Woudn't have expected any less from you. But really, everyone calls Pete Wilson a legend, why? He held the World Title for like 4 days! I've already held it longer than that! Wilson has become nothing but a mid-carder since his return.
Wild: Oh come on. You know you wanted to see him beat up Mark Drivelane! I know I did, and I don't like him.
Fly: To tell you the truth, I wanted to see it happen, but I wasn't sure if Petey could do it, and I'm still unsure. I'm still unsure why he's given the first title defense, as well. First he challenges Drivelane to a match, and next thing you know Drivelane sucks up to him and gives him a shot at the UWA's pacesetter Jonny Fly.
Fly: If Wilson wants my title, he's gonna have to wrestle his best match EVER! EVER! And Pete's been around for some time. The usual performance by Pete Wilson will be shut down, and turned back around, and he'll be shit out of luck. Wilson's gonna have to set the bar up a little higher at Stranglehold. I'm not sure if he can anymore.
Wild: You might be right. But I don't know, whenever a title is on the line, Wilson almost always comes out on top.
Fly: That might be true. But c'mon, Giri Futai? Doctor X and Freedom Morelez? Those guys aren't close to me. Not one of them. Pete has had it easy. I refuse to think of him as a legitamate threat. Just a tune up for PPV.
Wild: That's no way to think. You've said yourself many times that underestimatation leads to destruction. You underestimate him, and he might steal one from you.
Fly: That only works against legiatate opponets. When your the underdog you say things like that, but Wilson is the heavy underdog here. That's his line. Unless there is interferance, I will win! I will not be a 10 day champion.
Wild: I'd hope not. So what do you think about this Dynasty thing? They challenge us to a match, and the next thing you know, most of them are out of the comapany.
Fly: It's simple. They knew once I beat Shadow that the fun and games was over. They knew that I would breeze through the Main Event, and then them as a group at War Games. They agreed to me being the leader, and Mills even signed off on it! They knew that "their" Dynasty was in jepordy, and instead of getting throughly embarrased, they left. Nothing but cowards.
Wild: I agree with you there. I hate those guys! They thought they were some sort of "untouchable" gods. They though that because they could disrespect the fans, and beat up on mid-carders, they were something special. Well look what happened to them at PPV. Travis lost his Hardcore Title, Mills didn't make it to his match, and Jeff Van Damage was torn up by Mirror and Giri. We have always been the Dynasty, and we will continue to be.
Wild: So you don't think Pete Wilson's done what it takes to be given the match..so who, in your mind is?
Fly: Dude, you sound just like an interviewer! But, possibly Shadow. Beazt doesn't. Beazt did nothing but ridicule me, and my chances of winning the match. He even went as far as calling Wall2K, Hell, and himself, the "Best 3 wrestlers in the UWA"..which is a bunch of bullshit. Beazt may not be top 3 or 4, and Jonny Fly is #1. He can agree, disagree, it doesn't matter. That's the way it is. More people question his chance at the title than mine, and there is only one reason for that..Beazt never wins the big match. Beazt has failed miserably at the US Title numerous times, and now the World Title. Hell, it was probally James Evans who got him his Tag-Title. But I'm done talking about them. That was AGES ago! Any respect I have for him is down the tube. Shadow is better than him, and seeing how Beazt coudn't beat Futai, a feat Mirror accomplished..he's not even as good as our new US Champion. Mikey Hell may be a top wrestler, but his first title defense ended in a lost. So how good is he? You know it is possible to get luck once. I'm not saying he was, but he sure looked awful against me, and I'm not considered to be a good as Reverend Snow. The man Mikey Hell beat for the title. So all in all, Hell is a top competitor, but will have to, again, work his way up. Shadow is a good competitor, and has beat me once, though I have returned the favor once as well. Nikolas Globe is another guy who might earn a shot. There are other men who have all the talent in the world, and are able to take my World Title away. Guys like Freedom Morelez, but they'll never put up the consitency to do so.
Wild: I think your right on the money. Shadow is the best bet. Globe is pretty could, Hell could re-take the title back, and Pete Wilson is not out of the question. Either is Beazt, no matter how much he sucks these days, or blows him opportunities.
Fly: I guess. I got a month to worry about that. First is Wilson, in a most likely sucessful defense. Then I think we can start zooming in on the Tag-Titles until PPV. It is unlikely our bookers will make me defend the title 3 times in a single month. Nobody else has been forced too.
Wild: Yea, Tag-Titles are looking better each and every day. But I have to ask, who actually holds the belt? Along with Wall, Giri, and Travis Williams, Nicky Mills has left the UWA. Do the belts fall to Damage?
Fly: I don't know, but the tag-division is nothing to be impressed by either way. I'm the man to beat in singles competition, and we'll be the team to beat in the tag ranks. Now, I'm hungry, lunch interest you?
Wild: Yea, sure, I could go for some Italian!
Fly: I got no problem with that, as long as your paying!
Wild: I have no problem with that. Call it my present for what you did last Friday.
Chris Wild and Jonny Fly continue walking down the street, in the direction of an Italian resturant down the street...
To be continued..
SCENE FADE
------------------------------------
It is of course evident, by the title around Fly's waist, and by the performance he made at PPV, that he is the man to beat in the UWA. That's not the question, the question is whether Pete Wilson has what it takes to quickly dethrown Jonny Fly. Fly doubts it, but Chris Wild, a man who has both seen Fly and Wilson wrestle, is a bit skeptical. The glory sitting around Fly blocks him from seeing the big picture. But that picture is clear to some..Pete Wilson can, and may, take down Jonny Fly.
